Multidisciplinary Learning: Jalan Integrasi Keilmuan Dalam Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam Abad 21

The 21st century is a challenge for the world of Islamic religious education. All technological developments require Islamic religious education to continue to adapt. This adjustment is carried out to maintain the contextualization of Islamic religious education based on current developments. One of the important things in this adaptation effort is the effort to innovate the learning paradigm. It is known that there are still many Islamic religious education learning methods that use monodisciplinary learning, using only one method of scientific discipline in the learning process. So to adapt and contextualize Islamic religious education, an approach is needed that is not only focused on one discipline but also linked to other disciplines to provide a broad perspective and affirm the knowledge being studied from the perspective of different scientific disciplines. So multidisciplinary-based learning is a path for scientific integration efforts in the learning process of Islamic religious education in the 21st century. This research is a qualitative library research. The data collection method uses the library method, and the data analysis method uses descriptive analysis. This study aims to see how the multidisciplinary learning method in Islamic religious education is learning in the 21st century and its implementation. The results of this study show that multidisciplinary learning is an alternative path to developing Islamic religious education learning in the 21st century.
